Decaffeinated Green Tea - Japan Sencha (1/2lb)
The tightly rolled leaves of this green tea are the same as those used for Gunpowder and Jasmine teas. Once harvested and dried, these leaves produce a vegetal flavor reminiscent of grass or seaweed with a perfect balance between sweet and astringent. The decaffeination process uses CO2 which does not affect the health benefits of this delightful tea. For the perfect cup, steep one teaspoon of this tea per six ounces of 170-degree water for one to two minutes.
